While fishing at North Park, Allegheny County, I noticed a large fruiting Viburnum dentatum (I think). Its precise location is as follows- West of the North Park Ice rink, there is a concrete bridge that crosses the North Fork of Pine Creek. The plant is just beyond the concrete abutment on the SW aspect of the bridge. I suspect that the berries are still there because even the deer would not be able to reach then at this location.
