Pycnanthemum

Pycnanthemum mountainmint

Mountain mints are erect, rhizomatous perennials characterized by very small, tubular flowers arranged in dense, head-like clusters that crown the main stem and branches. Additional flower clusters may appear in the axils of the upper leaves. The flowers range from purplish to white, with a two-lipped structure, often marked by purple spotting on the lower lip.
